Summary: Seven of Nine and B’Elanna Torres get into an argument, and decide to settle things the old-fashioned way… through seduction.

Disclaimer: <The Sasscat stretches, yawns, ponders, then shrugs.> Paramount owns the characters, not that it matters. Cats do as they please, and this one pleases to mess with Paramount’s gear.

Author’s Note: The style is sto… er, borrowed from ‘The Ten Minute Storybook’, a collection by Kathleen Lines. Sorry, Kathy, but true art must take precedence. (And then Sasscat gets to mess with things. What, you thought I meant *this* was true art?)

A dispute once arose between Seven of Nine and B’Elanna Torres which was the sexier of the two, and they agreed to put the point upon this issue, that whichever soonest made Harry Kim take off his clothes, should be accounted the more sexy.

Seven of Nine began, and with such direct and impatient words did she speak, that Harry took afright and clasped his clothes all the tighter.

Then began B’Elanna: with her gentle smile she dispersed the inquietude and consternation; Harry felt her genial warmth, and as B’Elanna whispered sweeter and sweeter he lay down, overcome by her beauty, and cast his clothes upon the ground. (And then they really got down to it!)

Thus B’Elanna was declared the conqueror; and it has ever been deemed that persuasion is better than force; and that the sunshine of a kind and gentle manner will sooner lay open a poor man’s heart than all the directness and force of some silicon-based Borg chick.
